2 Month Update

Matthew had his two month Dr visit today. He now weighs 11 lbs 15 oz and is 23 inches long. He is in the 50th percentile for weight, length and head! He also got his first round of immunizations today and is currently taking a nap to recuperate. He's a tough guy!

Here we go Steelers, here we go!

Mommy and I went to Pensacola since there was no electricity at our house. There were lots of people from New Orleans there. We had lunch with the Flicks!

And air conditioning, and television! After 5 days and 3 hours of outage, our electricity has returned! Matthew and Nicole will be heading back to Baton Rouge on Sunday!

After the storm

Hi everyone. Hopefully most of you have heard by now that we made it through the storm just fine. We lost power about 1 pm on Monday. We had hurricane force winds for 2+ hours. Our house sustained no damage, so we were very lucky. Baton Rouge has a lot of damage, with complete power outages and downed trees. There is really no timeline for power to be restored so Matthew and Nicole drove to Pensacola today to be at the beach with Cilla. Greg is busy at work getting things back to normal so that grocery stores can get food! Hopefully we will have power soon and life can get back to normal.
