Swinging in NOLA

Everybody got a chance to swing in New Orleans. We did try to sit Kate up in the swing but she seemed to really like slouching to the side.

Mardi Gras

While we were in New Orleans, Matthew and Katelyn were able to go to their first parades. Matthew wasn't sure about it at first, but by the end he wanted to go to each float to catch beads!

Kate slept through the first parade but was awake to check out the second one. She loved all the commotion. Check out those red cheeks- it was hot!

On our way back to the car we stopped to check out a fire truck. The Captain asked Matthew if he'd like to sit in the driver's seat- boy was he excited!

We got to visit with GG while we were in New Orleans. Kate loved being held and GG was entertained by Matthew's constant motion!

Kate is enjoying trying new foods. Not sure what this was- squash, peaches or sweet potato!
